Product Description

The C867VAE-W-A-K9 puts a VDSL/ADSL2+ modem, a Gigabit Ethernet switch, and a 2.4GHz wireless access point in one unit, so a small office or home network runs off a single box on a DSL line. The built-in modem connects straight to your DSL service through the RJ-11 port, so there is no second modem to power, mount, and troubleshoot.

Four Ethernet ports handle wired connections for desktops, IP phones, network printers, consoles, and smart TVs, with 10/100/1000Base-T and 10/100Base-TX support so older and newer equipment share the same switch. Five RJ-45 network ports in total include a broadband port for direct internet connectivity plus a management port for configuration. Wireless clients connect over IEEE 802.11n on the 2.4GHz ISM band at rates up to 54 Mbit/s. A USB port accepts external storage, a printer, or a 3G/4G modem, which gives you shared files across the network or a backup path when the DSL line drops.

Management is built for people who want detail. Configuration runs through a web interface or the CLI, SNMP v3 reports device health to monitoring software, and DHCP and SSH cover address assignment and remote administration. Quality of Service prioritizes traffic so voice and video calls hold up when someone starts a large download. VPN support with IPsec encryption gives remote staff an encrypted tunnel back to the office, while MAC filtering and port security limit which devices get on the network at all.

Power comes from an AC adapter. It fits branch offices, retail counters, and home offices still served by DSL rather than fiber or cable.

Features

    • One Box For Modem And Router

The integrated VDSL/ADSL2+ modem connects directly to your DSL line through the RJ-11 port, cutting a separate modem, its power supply, and its cabling out of the rack.

    • Wired Speed For Every Desk

Four Ethernet ports with 10/100/1000Base-T and 10/100Base-TX support let desktops, IP phones, and printers share one switch regardless of their age.

    • Expansion Through USB

The USB port accepts external storage for shared files across the network, a printer, or a 3G/4G modem as a fallback path when DSL goes down.

    • Traffic Priority That Holds Calls

Quality of Service keeps voice and video packets ahead of bulk transfers, so a large download in the office does not break a client call.

    • Remote Access And Network Control

VPN support with IPsec encryption covers remote staff, while MAC filtering, port security, SNMP v3, and SSH give you control over who connects and how.
