NB-4

The NB-4 is a pair of car audio tweeters rated 120W RMS and 250W max each, built around a niobium rare-earth ferroelectric transducer with a polypropylene diaphragm. There is no voice coil in the design, which removes the part that normally fails first when a tweeter sees too much power for too long.

Frequency response runs 5kHz to 25kHz with 97 dB sensitivity, so the NB-4 handles cymbals, upper vocal detail, and string harmonics that mid-bass drivers cannot reproduce. A built-in crossover keeps low frequencies out, letting you wire the pair straight into an amplifier channel or full-range speaker output without an external network.

The difference between this model and the smaller NB-1 is the four-way mounting system. Swivel, surface, angle, and flush mounting are all supported, so you can aim the output at ear level in almost any vehicle: swivel them toward the driver in a door panel, flush mount into an A-pillar, angle mount on a kick panel, or surface mount inside a custom box or bar speaker. That aiming control matters, because high frequencies are directional and a tweeter pointed at your knees sounds nothing like one pointed at your head.

At 4 ohms, the NB-4 pairs with factory radios and aftermarket amplifiers alike, working as an add-on to coaxial speakers or as the high-frequency section of a component front stage. Sold and packaged per pair.
