PDN-621HB

The PDN-621HB is a 6.2" car DVD receiver with built-in GPS navigation for the USA. Set a destination and it gives text-to-speech turn-by-turn directions with lane guidance, plus a favorites list, a programmable home destination, destination fuel estimates, speed limit warnings, and multi-lingual, multi-gender voices. The 800x480 widescreen LCD runs a 400NIT LED backlight and supports custom backgrounds and screen savers.

MHL MobileLink X2 mirrors a connected phone or tablet to the head unit over USB while sending your touch input back over Bluetooth 3.0. You can open apps, play video files stored on the device, or post a social update from the larger screen instead of handling the phone. Bluetooth also covers hands-free calling and A2DP wireless audio, using the built-in microphone or the external mic included in the box.

Media playback covers DVD and CD discs with MP3 and MP4 files, plus up to 64GB from SD or USB, with ID3 tag reading for track and artist information. An AUX audio input takes personal media players, and the FM/AM tuner includes RDBS and multi-region frequency stepping for use outside the US band spacing.

Audio tuning runs through a digital 10-band equalizer with 14dB of boost or cut, custom and factory presets, variable subwoofer level, loudness, reverb optimization, and sound staging. Front and rear preamp outputs plus a variable subwoofer output feed external amplifiers, a video output runs rear-seat screens, and there is a rear view camera input with trigger, OEM steering wheel control interface support, and 300W of four-channel MOSFET power on board.
