PML-43HB

The PML-43HB is a 1-DIN digital media car stereo with a 4.3" LCD and no disc mechanism, built for systems that run on phones and USB storage instead of CDs. The 800x480 screen has an adjustable backlight, and the keys and accents light in seven RGB colors so the head unit matches the rest of the dash.

Bluetooth 4.0 covers hands-free calling with call logs, caller ID, and phone book access, plus wireless audio streaming with track controls from the faceplate. PhoneLink mirrors an Android device to the screen with two-way touch control and keeps the phone voice recognition service available, so you stay connected without handling the device. The connection uses the phone original USB charging cable, and the front USB port supplies 1A of charging current.

Playback covers audio and video from USB storage up to 64GB, including 1080p MP4 and WMV video and MP3 and WMA audio files. A 3.5mm AUX jack sits on the faceplate for wired sources, and RCA A/V inputs on the back panel take an external player.

Two camera inputs make this a practical pick for trucks, vans, and towing setups: the back-up camera RCA input switches on automatically with a +12V reverse signal, and the front camera input triggers from the screen. On the output side you get front left and right preamp RCA outputs, an RCA video output for rear-seat entertainment, and a built-in four-channel 300W max Class A/B amplifier. A 4-band equalizer with 8dB of boost or cut and preset EQ curves handles tuning. The ISO 1-DIN chassis and included mounting brackets fit standard single-DIN openings.
