RE1-1500D

The RE1-1500D is a single-channel car amplifier for a subwoofer stage. It is rated 375W RMS at 4 ohms, 750W RMS at 2 ohms, and 1,500W max power, and it is stable down to 2 ohms, so it suits one dual voice coil subwoofer wired to 2 ohms or a pair of 4-ohm woofers in parallel.

Full-range monoblock operation with variable 12dB high-pass, low-pass, and subsonic crossovers means you can set it strictly for bass or assign it midbass duty in a multi-amplifier system. A 12dB bass boost adds low-octave harmonics when source material is thin, and the included dash-mounted remote gain control puts subwoofer level at your fingertips instead of behind a trunk panel.

Input sensitivity spans 200mV to 6V and accepts high-level or low-level RCA signal, so it connects to a factory radio speaker output or an aftermarket head unit preamp output without an extra converter. Protection circuits cover direct short, thermal, and overload conditions to keep the amplifier alive when a wire shorts or airflow gets restricted.

Direct-wire terminals take 4-gauge power and ground with 12-gauge speaker output, and at 9" x 8.5" x 2.2" the chassis fits under a seat, on a rear deck, or on a small amp rack in a daily-driven car. This is a straightforward first amplifier for a single-subwoofer build, and it has enough output to keep up if you upgrade the woofer later.
