RE1-3000D

The RE1-3000D is a single-channel car amplifier built for larger subwoofer systems. It is rated 750W RMS at 4 ohms, 1,500W RMS at 2 ohms, and 3,000W max power, and it is stable down to 2 ohms, which covers one high-power dual voice coil subwoofer wired to 2 ohms or two 4-ohm woofers in parallel.

Full-range monoblock operation with variable 12dB high-pass, low-pass, and subsonic crossovers gives you room to set it up as a dedicated bass amplifier or hand it midbass duty in a larger system. A 12dB bass boost adds low-octave harmonics on tracks that need it, and the dash-mounted remote gain control included in the box lets you match subwoofer level to the music without leaving the front seat.

Input sensitivity spans 200mV to 6V with high-level or low-level RCA input, so it works behind a factory radio using speaker wire signal or an aftermarket head unit with preamp outputs. Direct short, thermal, and overload protection circuits shut things down before damage happens.

Direct-wire terminals accept 4-gauge power and ground with 12-gauge speaker output. The chassis measures 14" x 8.5" x 2.2", so plan for a rear deck, a trunk floor panel, or an amp rack rather than a tight under-seat space. If your subwoofer is rated near 1,000W RMS or two woofers are sharing one amplifier, this is the size that keeps up.
