ATOM SQ is a hybrid MIDI controller built for producers who move between step sequencing, drum programming, and playing synth lines without switching hardware. Its 32 velocity- and pressure-sensitive RGB pads sit in a staggered layout that reads like a keyboard to piano players and like a step sequencer to beat programmers, and a Constrain to Scale feature keeps every pad performance in key. Deep integration with Studio One's Pattern Editor lets you insert and edit step sequences directly from the controller, while native Ableton Live support adds clip launching, device control, and mixer access without touching a mouse. Eight endless rotary encoders map to nearly any software parameter, and a context-sensitive LCD screen shows exactly what each control does at any moment, so you are not guessing at blank knobs. An assignable touch strip adds expressive control for arpeggios or Live's crossfader, and MCU and HUI emulation extend compatibility to most other DAWs. Studio One Artist and Ableton Live Lite ship included, along with two loop packs for Impact XT, giving you production software alongside the hardware. Connected over USB-C and bus-powered, ATOM SQ is compact enough to travel with a laptop and go straight from writing a beat to performing it live.
