DM-7 [Used]

The DM-7 gives you seven microphones built to cover a full drum kit in one purchase, starting with the BD-1 kick drum mic, which uses a mid-cut frequency response to bring out both the boom and the attack of your kick without one overpowering the other. Four ST-4 cardioid dynamic mics handle toms and snare, each with an adjustable rim mount that keeps the mic out of the drummer's way while staying locked in position through a full set. Two OH-2 small-diaphragm condensers finish the kit as overheads, picking up cymbal sizzle and room ambience to add space and movement to the overall drum sound. Every mic comes with its mount, and the two OH-2s include clips and foam windscreens, so the kit arrives ready to place rather than requiring separate hardware purchases. A hardshell carrying case keeps all seven mics and their mounts organized and protected between sessions, moving between a home studio and a rehearsal space or setting up for a live show. For drummers, producers, or engineers who need a complete multitrack drum mic solution without sourcing individual mics for kick, toms, snare, and overheads separately, the DM-7 is a single-purchase answer.
