The FaderPort 8 gives you eight channels of hands-on mix control without taking over the desk. Eight touch-sensitive, motorized 100 mm faders handle levels and automation, and 57 buttons cover 78 functions: zoom in on audio for editing, set click tempo with a tap, adjust plug-in parameters, manage aux mixes, and ride track levels with a finger. It works alongside your keyboard and mouse rather than replacing them, so the parts of your workflow that already work stay intact. Large illuminated buttons make the function you want easy to find, and eight high-definition scribble strips show what each fader is controlling. Select a track with the mouse and the FaderPort 8 follows the selection, so you can start a task either way. The Session Navigator section gives one-button access to eight functions, including track scrolling, channel banking, and timeline scrolling, plus dedicated buttons to arm all tracks, clear solos and mutes, and show only the tracks, buses, and VCAs you want visible. Four programmable User buttons cover your own frequently used commands. Support for Mackie Control and HUI protocols means no driver installation and control of virtually any DAW, with tested support across Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Ableton Live, Nuendo, Bitwig, Reaper, and Reason. Studio One integration is native and Studio One Artist is included. A footswitch input handles hands-free start and stop, and the unit connects over USB 2.0.
