PRESONUS FADERPORT V2 USB DAW Control Surface Ableton Live/MCU/HUI Integration

The FaderPort V2 is the compact end of hands-on DAW control: one touch-sensitive, motorized 100 mm fader plus transport and session controls, connected over USB 2.0. For recording and mixing, that single fader covers the job most engineers actually need, riding levels and writing automation on the track that matters right now, with the motor following your DAW so the fader position always reflects the session. A large 360-degree push-button encoder handles the Session Navigator functions introduced on the FaderPort 8 and 16, including timeline scrolling, channel banking, zoom, and markers, so moving around a session does not require the keyboard. Transport controls, channel record arm, and loop on and off sit on dedicated buttons, along with automation behavior selection and user-definable function buttons. Channel control buttons solo or mute a channel and clear all solos or mutes at once, and you can bypass all plug-ins on one channel or across the session, depending on DAW support. A footswitch jack allows hands-free punch in and out, though the footswitch is not included. Studio One support is native, including Control Link and parameter follow so the hardware jumps to whatever control you touch on screen, and Studio One Artist is included. Mackie Control Universal and Mackie HUI emulation cover Logic Pro X, Cubase, Ableton Live, and Pro Tools. It takes up very little desk space, which makes it practical for a laptop rig or a crowded workstation.
