M7 Condenser Microphone with Vocal Isolation Shield

This bundle pairs the PreSonus M7 cardioid condenser microphone with the Rockville RockShield 1 isolation shield, adding acoustic treatment to a recording setup without building out a full vocal booth. The M7's back electret condenser capsule produces a warm tone tuned for vocals, and its cardioid pattern focuses on the sound source directly in front of it while downplaying noise from the sides and rear. The RockShield 1 surrounds the back and sides of the microphone with three panels of 1.5 inch high-density acoustic foam, backed by a vented metal plate, to absorb room reflections and off-axis noise before they reach the capsule. That creates a small acoustic boundary around the microphone, redirecting focus to your voice and reducing the boxy, reflective sound that untreated rooms can add to a recording.
