The ES4 powers up to four microphones at once through its MAX-HD preamps, which deliver up to 75 dB of clean gain for today's most popular studio and broadcast mics, while two Fender co-developed guitar and bass inputs handle guitar and bass direct. An Auto Gain button dials in the right level automatically, and the illuminated encoder plus bright LED metering keep every channel visible without opening a laptop. Recording runs at up to 24-bit/192kHz with a custom low-latency driver, and loopback audio makes it simple to build separate monitor and stream mixes. Each 512-BBA boom arm holds a mic up to 3 lb steady through 360 degrees of rotation and two-axis adjustment, and its internal high-tension spring stays in place without creaking or needing readjustment mid-session.
