Presonus Studio One 4 Pro Upgrade from Artist/Producer Version 1/2/3 to Pro 4.0

This upgrade license moves an existing Studio One Artist or Producer 1, 2, or 3 license up to Studio One 4 Professional, the full version of the DAW with recording, editing, mixing, and mastering in one application.

The single-screen interface holds unlimited tracks, editing tools, and virtual synths and samplers, so you stay in one window instead of hunting through menus. Three linked pages cover the workflow: the Start page for opening projects and setting parameters, the Song page for recording, arranging, editing, and mixing, and the Project page for assembling and mastering a finished record. Song and Project stay linked, so a late fix in the mix flows back into the mastered version automatically.

Version 4 adds Harmonic Editing, a chord track that reaches far past note data. Create and change chord progressions, try substitutions, and have existing audio and note parts follow a new structure. Built-in chord detection pulls chords out of audio or note tracks: drag a part onto the Chord Track and it becomes a reference. Scratch Pads let you test arrangements safely, and the Arranger track moves whole song sections like parts.

Impact XT turns beat production into a full environment with loop launching, real-time stretching, and beat quantization. Sample One XT samples, auto-slices, stretches, and triggers audio from inputs or tracks. Patterns bring step sequencing onto the same track as regular note parts, with variable lengths, unlimited variations, and step-based automation. Mastering tools cover EQ, limiting, industry-standard metering, spectrum analysis, Red Book CD burning, and DDP import and export.
