PRESONUS SW5E 5-Port AVB Switch w/ PoE, Rack Mountable, Rugged All-Metal Chassis

The SW5E is a five-port AVB switch built for live sound networks. Four ports supply Power over Ethernet for PoE-compatible devices such as personal monitor mixers and stage boxes, so those units run on the same cable that carries their audio. The fifth port is non-PoE, which is what you use to link to another switch and extend the network across a stage or a building.

All five ports use secure Ethercon jacks, so a cable pulled at the wrong moment stays connected instead of dropping a monitor mix mid-song. The all-metal chassis handles the load-in and load-out cycle, and the unit screws to a rack tray (not included) when it lives in a permanent install or a touring rack.

Front-panel indicators show PoE power status and network link and activity per port, so tracing a dead monitor takes a glance rather than a laptop. A PoE power on/off control lets you cut power to connected devices without unplugging cables, and the unit has its own power switch. Power comes from an internal supply with a standard IEC connector, so there is no wall wart to lose.
