SXV300v1 Satellite Radio Tuner Kit

The SXV300v1 adds SiriusXM satellite radio to a car audio system you already own. The kit pairs a hideaway tuner with a magnetic antenna, so the hardware stays out of sight and the dash keeps its factory look. Because the tuner connects directly to SiriusXM-Ready in-dash receivers, there are no translators or cable adapters to track down.

At 3.42" wide, 0.7" deep and 2" tall, the tuner tucks behind the dash or under a seat. Once it is wired in, you change channels, browse programming and read artist and track information on the head unit screen you already use, with no second remote or add-on display.

Live radio also becomes something you can rewind. Pause, rewind and replay up to 60 minutes of a broadcast, so a phone call in the middle of a game or an interview does not cost you the segment. Game, Song and Artist Alerts tell you when a favorite team, track or performer starts playing on another channel, and SiriusXM Xtra Channels open up programming beyond the standard lineup. iTunes tagging saves tracks you hear on the road so you can find them again later.

The kit fits daily commuting, long highway trips, work trucks that spend hours between towns, and rural routes where FM signal fades out. It works just as well in a new aftermarket stereo install as it does in an older receiver that shipped SiriusXM-Ready and never had a tuner attached. Installation is quick: mount the antenna, route the cable, connect the tuner to the receiver satellite radio input, and activate a subscription.
