X-DDJREV1LT

The X-DDJREV1LT is a hard case built around the Pioneer DDJ-REV1 controller, with a sliding laptop shelf above the deck. The shell is signature 3/8" Gig-Ready series plywood in a Honeycomb Digital laminated finish, joined with easy-locking aluminum tongue and groove and closed with padlock-ready recessed butterfly twist-lock latches.

Reinforced steel ball corners protect the edges and let cases stack in the van, while spring-action recessed handles sit inside the case profile so they cannot be sheared off on a ramp or doorway. High-density foam supports the controller inside, and four industrial-grade rubber feet keep the case from sliding on a booth or banquet table.

A removable front panel opens the front controls and the headphone and mic jacks, so the REV1 stays in the case through soundcheck and the set. Extra room behind and under the unit takes cables, a power supply, and small accessories, which keeps the setup down to one piece to carry.

The outer laminate is the ProX Honeycomb Digital hexagon-grid design, first drawn in 2009 from New York City manhole covers and chosen because it resists the minor to mild scratches that plain laminated plywood shows. All ProX cases are cut on CNC equipment so panels, foam, and hardware repeat to the same tolerances build after build, a standard the family-owned company has held since 1984.

For equipment safety, do not transport gear stored on the sliding shelf, and note that the shelf lifts out when slid to its furthest point. Covered by the ProX Limited Lifetime Warranty.
