The Mobi Buddy X-MOBICP18 is a hands-free mobile device clamp kit that mounts a phone, small camera, or field recorder wherever you need it. The clamp holds devices from 1" to 4" in width or length, which covers iPhone, iPod, Android phones, GoPro Hero cameras, and audio field recorders.

The kit gives you three ways to mount. A posable 15.5" gooseneck pole bends and holds position for odd angles. A folding steel base sets the rig on a table or console. Dual mounting clamps grip speaker stands, microphone stands, and other round items, and a universal surface clamp fits a desk, road case, or other flat surface. Everything stores in a durable carry case with a pre-cut foam interior, so the kit stays together between jobs.

This solves a specific problem: getting a screen or camera positioned exactly where you need it without holding it.
