XC-SB124XLR100

The ProX XC-SB124XLR100 is a 100-foot XLR stage box snake with 12 female XLR channel inputs on the stage end and 4 male XLR returns, replacing a dozen individual mic cables with one run and one box.

Twelve sends cover a working input list: vocal mics, drum mics, guitar and bass amp mics, keyboard and playback direct boxes. The 4 XLR-M returns handle monitor mix sends back to stage or effect returns into the console, so the same cable carries the whole conversation between the stage and front of house. One pull down the side of a room means one line to tape down and one thing to coil at the end of the night, and it keeps the console at a real mixing position instead of squeezed against the stage lip.

Conductors are 20 AWG x 2 oxygen-free copper with a braided OFC compact shield that keeps noise out of low-level microphone lines running past dimmer racks and power feeders. The compact cable diameter reduces eddy currents. Contacts are silver plated inside all-metal connectors, and Complete Coil manufacturing holds tight weave tolerances for accurate reproduction. Bending and coiling are what this construction handles show after show.
