XF-MESATRUSS

The XF-MESATRUSS is a pair of telescoping T-bar lighting stands with a spanning truss, built to clamp onto the rear vertical frame of the ProX XF-MESA MEDIA and XF-MESA MK2 facades. Because it mounts to the facade itself, lighting goes up over the booth without two tripod stands eating floor space in the DJ area, which is often the difference between fitting a lighting rig into a small room or leaving it in the vehicle.

The T-bars extend to 10 ft high and carry two interlocking 5 ft sections of I-truss, giving a straight 10 ft span above the booth for wash fixtures, effects, and lightweight accessories. Construction is steel with a black painted finish, and all mounting hardware is included. Truss tubing measures 1 3/8" in diameter, and connectors and clamps are metal throughout.

Maximum equally distributed load is 80 lb. Individual fixtures should stay under 8 lb, and the truss is not made for moving heads or any fixture that moves. Mount fixtures with a light-duty clamp rated for 1" to 2" service and protect the truss finish when tightening clamps.

Set the facade and truss on firm, level ground, clear of overhead obstacles, and lock every safety pin and knob. Center and balance loads, and install a safety cable or chain on each fixture. Close all sections and lightly tighten the tube clamps before transport, and never move the facade with the truss loaded or extended. Outdoors, brace or cable the truss system in case of wind.
