The ProX XS-AHQU16 is an ATA-300 style road case built to move the Allen & Heath QU-16 digital mixer and nothing else, so the console sits in a foam pocket cut to its footprint rather than floating in generic padding. High-density foam lines the interior for support on all sides, and a low front panel leaves the input row accessible while the mixer stays in the case, which saves a repack every time you need to change a line. At 34 lb with 25.00"L x 20.00"W x 11.00"H exterior measurements, it is a case one person can carry in and out of a venue by hand. The shell is premium Series 3/8" plywood with heavy-duty steel ball corners and dual anchor rivets at the seams, so stacked gear and rough handling do not work the joints loose. Recessed spring-action handles on each side keep grip points out of harms way, and the industrial recessed butterfly twist-lock latches accept padlocks when the case gets left on a stage overnight. The Honeycomb Digital laminate finish adds a layer that shields the exterior from scuffs and light scratches. Foam padding is made from 85% recycled material.
