The XT-SQ492BLK is a 4.92 ft (1.5 m) F34 square truss segment finished in black powder coat. The structure is EN-AW 6082-T6 aluminum with a 2 in (50 mm) main tube, a 0.08 in (2 mm) wall, and an 11.42 in (290 mm) square profile, welded by TUV-certified welders. Powder coating puts down a harder film than liquid paint, so the finish stands up better to scratches, chipping, abrasion, corrosion, and fading across a season of shows. The black finish also keeps the structure visually quiet under stage lighting, which pushes attention toward your fixtures, video wall, or set rather than raw aluminum. Tolerance-free conical connector sockets keep the coupling genderless: chords line up on the first try and breakdown needs only a small hammer. The segment follows industry-standard F34 dimensions, so it connects to most other conical-connector F34 truss, including unfinished silver segments if you want a two-tone look. Use it for live outdoor productions, nightclub and church installs, retail and trade show builds, and permanent architectural runs.
