Product Description

The Rockville RQT10 is a single 10" sealed subwoofer enclosure built for tight spaces. At 19.625" long, 12" tall and 6" deep with a 3.5" mounting depth, it slides under or behind the back seat of most pickup trucks, where a full size box will not go. The downfiring design aims the woofer at the floor, using the cab surface to reinforce output while keeping the cone clear of boots, tools and shifting cargo.

Net volume is .65 cubic feet per sub, .81 cubic feet gross, a sealed range that produces accurate, controlled bass rather than one loud note. A sealed box tracks the recording closely, which pays off on rock, country and acoustic material while still adding real low end to hip-hop.

The enclosure is made in the USA from Grade A 3/4" MDF, cut on precision machinery by builders who have been making these boxes for over 20 years. Every joint is glued with a custom adhesive, stapled, then sealed with a layer of silicone at each seam, so the box stays airtight and rigid through years of road vibration. Air leaks and panel flex are what rob a sealed box of accuracy, and this construction resists both.

The bed liner finish seals and protects the exterior far better than carpet. It resists moisture, scuffs and stains, so the box holds up in a work truck that sees mud, gear and daily loading.

Machine cut mounting holes are sized for most popular 10" woofers, and the 3.5" mounting depth makes shallow mount subs a natural match. For added bass in a regular or extended cab truck without giving up seat travel or floor space, this is the straightforward way to get there.

Features

    • Fits Where Full Size Boxes Cannot

At 6" deep with a 3.5" mounting depth, this enclosure slides under or behind the back seat of most pickup trucks without costing you legroom.

    • Bass Aimed At The Floor

The downfiring layout points the woofer down, using the cab floor to reinforce output while shielding the cone from boots, tools and shifting cargo.

    • Accurate, Controlled Low End

The sealed .65 cubic foot net chamber keeps bass tight and true to the recording, adding weight to your music without one overpowering note.

    • Built Airtight In The USA

Grade A 3/4" MDF joints are glued, stapled and sealed with silicone at every seam, so the box stays leak free and rigid through years of road vibration.

    • A Finish Made For Work Trucks

The bed liner coating resists water, mud and scuffs far better than carpet, keeping the enclosure intact in a cab that gets loaded every day.
