This pair of Rockville HT120 tweeters ships pre-installed in aluminum horns for quick integration into live sound speaker systems, stage monitors, and PA rigs. Each titanium diaphragm driver is mated to a 2" high-temperature die-cast Kapton voice coil with ferro fluid cooling, a setup that handles repeated high-power use without thermal compression. The 34 oz magnet drives 120W RMS and 360W peak at 105dB sensitivity, producing loud, articulate highs that project to the back of a venue.

In live sound, horn material matters more than it does anywhere else because the drivers are working hard for hours at a stretch. Aluminum horns are heavier and denser than plastic, so they produce zero resonances or unwanted vibrations that would smear the high-frequency response during a show. The 800Hz to 20kHz range is wide enough to cross over between 1500Hz and 3000Hz at -12dB per octave, fitting standard two-way active and passive topologies.
