The RCM01 condenser microphone ships with the RockPop Curve, a curved mesh filter that fits directly over the mic body (1.65" to 1.97" diameter) without a separate gooseneck arm or desk clamp. It sits right at the capsule and disperses the bursts of air from hard consonants before they clip the signal. Setup takes seconds: slide it on and start recording.

The RCM01 runs a 25mm electret capsule with cardioid pickup, so it focuses on the speaker's voice and rejects noise from the sides and rear of the mic. With 18dBA equivalent self-noise, the mic adds almost nothing to the signal floor, which matters for podcast formats where quiet pauses are part of the rhythm. The all-metal body (steel basket and zinc alloy) is built for daily use, and a metal shock mount handles desk vibrations.
