The RCM03 uses a 16mm electret condenser diaphragm in a cardioid polar pattern, delivering natural vocal and acoustic reproduction across 30 Hz to 20 kHz. A 74 dB signal-to-noise ratio keeps recordings clean, and the sub-18 dBA noise floor handles quiet passages without introducing hiss. The aluminum body with steel basket sits in the included metal shock mount, which absorbs desk vibrations before they color the recording.
