RCS80-1 + MS81 6-Pack

This system combines the RCS80-1 60W 70V amplifier with twelve MS81 metal 8" ceiling speakers for broad coverage in large commercial buildings. The RCS80-1 provides Bluetooth streaming, USB/SD playback, FM radio, and dual microphone inputs in a single rack-mountable chassis, making it a complete audio source and amplifier for restaurants, retail floors, schools, and offices.

Each MS81 speaker features an 8" paper cone in a durable metal housing with a steel grille that matches standard commercial ceiling designs. The standout feature is a front-facing volume knob hidden in the center of the grille. You can reach up and adjust individual speaker output without removing the speaker or accessing the ceiling plenum. This is especially useful in large installations where different areas need different volume levels throughout the day.

With 70V taps at 5W, 2.5W, 1W, and 0.5W, twelve speakers can run at very low individual tap settings and still produce clear, audible background music. At 0.5W per speaker, all twelve draw just 6W total, leaving the amplifier with massive headroom. The 90 dB sensitivity and 120-degree conical dispersion mean each speaker fills a wide circle below it, so twelve units can cover a large restaurant, retail floor, or school hallway network.
