The REQ42-S is a 19" rack mountable dual channel graphic equalizer in a silver finish, providing 21 bands per channel (42 total) with individual blue LED slide controls for clear visual feedback. Each band is independently adjustable across both channels so you can fine tune stereo or dual mono signals with accuracy. Dual VU meters on the front panel show output levels for both channels simultaneously.

Multiple input options keep it flexible: a front panel selector switch lets you cycle between DVD, tape, tuner, and auxiliary/MP3 sources via RCA, and a dedicated 3.5mm front panel jack handles phones and portable players. RCA stereo record output feeds signal to a recording device when needed. The frequency response covers 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz with an 80 dB signal to noise ratio.
