The Rockville RockShelf 68C bundle puts a pair of 6.5" passive bookshelf speakers and 8" MDF desktop stands in a classic finish together in a single purchase, so your system is ready to set up the day it arrives. Each speaker handles 50W RMS (100W per pair) and covers a frequency range of 65Hz to 20kHz. The 6.5" Kevlar woofer cone produces tight, controlled bass and clear mids, while the 1" silk dome tweeter delivers warm, natural highs that metal dome tweeters simply cannot replicate. The MDF enclosure is rigid and dense, cutting down on cabinet resonance that would otherwise muddy the sound. The 8-ohm impedance makes them a natural fit for surround sound receivers and multi-speaker home theater configurations. The rear panel includes gold-plated 5-way binding posts for banana plugs, spade terminals, or bare wire, plus a wall-mount bracket for optional on-wall installation. The included 8" desktop stands are built from MDF with a furniture-grade paint finish that resists cracking and peeling.
