This three-piece recording kit gives you a Rockville RockShield 3 isolation shield, an RVMIC4 V2 round-base mic stand, and an iStand 44 tablet/phone mount so you can set up a vocal recording station anywhere. The RockShield 3 wraps five steel panels around your microphone, each lined with 2-inch-thick high density pyramid acoustic foam that absorbs room reflections and off-axis noise before they hit the capsule. The result is tighter, cleaner vocal takes without building out a full booth. It mounts directly to the included mic stand or sits on a desktop with the included attachment.

The RVMIC4 V2 stand features an all-metal hand clutch that lets you raise or lower the boom with one hand, no knobs to twist. Steel tubing at 25 mm on the lower shaft and 18 mm on top makes it one of the sturdiest stands you can get, and the weighted 9.84" round base with foam padding underneath keeps it planted on any floor. Height adjusts from 38" to 61". The iStand 44 clamps to the stand or any desk and holds tablets and phones from 4.7" to 12.9" screens with a spring-loaded grip and two 360-degree swivel ball joints, so you can read lyrics, scripts, or session notes at any angle while you record.
