MBA28

The MBA28 is an articulating microphone boom arm for radio, podcast, streaming, and home studio desks. Its jointed design gives up to 28" of horizontal or vertical reach, enough to bring a mic from the back of a desk to speaking position and swing it out of the way when you are done.

Internal springs carry the load, so repositioning is quiet. That matters on a live broadcast or an open mic session, where an external spring arm announces every adjustment. Steel construction takes the daily push and pull without loosening, and 5/8"-27 mic clip threading accepts standard clips, shock mounts, and adapters. The arm holds microphones up to 5 lb, which covers most USB and broadcast dynamic mics along with a shock mount and pop filter.

Two mounting options come in the box. The C-clamp grips a table or desk edge up to 2" thick and comes off without tools, which suits rented rooms, shared studios, and setups that move. The flange mount with wood screws fixes the arm permanently to a surface for a station that stays put.

It fits a podcast host who needs the mic close for an hour then the desk clear for notes, a streamer working around a keyboard and monitor arms, a voiceover booth where mic position must repeat exactly, and a home studio recording vocals or amp cabinets at the desk. Getting the mic off a floor stand also removes footstep and floor vibration from the signal.
