A C-clamp attaches it to a desk or table edge for temporary setups, while an included flange mount screws down for a more permanent studio installation, and its 5/8 inch-27 threading accepts most microphones weighing up to 5 lb.

Once the boom arm is in place, the iStand 22 swaps in for the standard mic clip using the same 3/8 inch threading, holding a phone or tablet from 4.7 to 12.9 inches instead.
