SE60x

The SE60x is a low-profile single-ear microphone built around a 7.35mm miniature condenser capsule. The unidirectional cardioid pattern picks up the voice directly in front of the capsule while rejecting sound from behind, which keeps stage wedges and room reflections out of the signal and reduces feedback in loud rooms.

The single-ear frame with adjustable boom sits close to the head and stays out of camera framing. Frequency response runs 50Hz to 18kHz with a 135dB max SPL, so it holds up to projected speech and singing without breaking up.

Four detachable adapter cables come in the box: 1/8" (3.5mm), Hirose 4-Pin, Switchcraft TA3F, and Switchcraft TA4F. TA3F connects to Samson wireless beltpacks, and the other three cover most other popular wireless transmitter connectors, so the same headset can move between systems or serve a venue running mixed gear. Because the cables detach, a damaged cable is replaced instead of the whole mic.

A gold-plated connector, moisture-resistant coating, and stainless steel mesh grille give the SE60x an IP65 rating for dust and water/sweat resistance. That is the difference between a headset that survives a spin class and one that fails mid-session. Four windscreens cut wind noise and P-pops, a collar clip keeps the cable run tidy, and a protective case handles storage between uses.
