Product Description
The HM60 capsule sits in a 3-point halo isolation mount that reduces noise from mechanical vibration, and its supercardioid pattern handles up to 125dB SPL. That headroom matters with brass and reeds, where the initial attack of a note hits hard enough to overload a lesser capsule.
On the receiving end, the rack-mountable CR99 provides 80 selectable channels in the 470 to 494 MHz range, so you can work around local RF traffic wherever the gig is. True RF diversity minimizes dropouts across 300' of operation, and tone key technology blocks unwanted noise when the transmitter is off or out of range. Infrared sync matches receiver and transmitter frequency without manual entry. Dynamic range runs above 100dB with signal to noise above 90dB.
The transmitter has accessible gain and mute controls, a battery life LED, and an 8-hour rechargeable lithium-ion battery charged over the included USB cable, so there are no AA batteries to buy between sets. It fits horn players in show bands, brass sections in houses of worship, marching and pep bands, theater pits, and touring acts that need the player free to move.
Features
-
No Beltpack To Wear
The ATX micro transmitter clips straight to the bell of your horn, removing the beltpack, the cable, and the snags that come with both.
-
Built For A Horn's Attack
An HM60 supercardioid condenser capsule rated to 125dB SPL takes the sudden attack of brass and reeds without breaking up.
-
Quiet Under Vibration
A 3-point halo isolation mount holds the capsule away from the body of the horn, cutting the noise mechanical vibration would otherwise add.
-
Aim It Once, Keep It
The 8.5" adjustable gooseneck with P3 connector sets capsule position in front of the bell and holds it through a full set.
-
Reliable Across The Stage
Eighty UHF channels, true RF diversity, and tone key technology hold a clean 300' link and block noise when the transmitter is off.
