Product Description

The AirLine AWX is a wireless microphone system built specifically for wind instruments like saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and sousaphones, replacing the beltpack and cable of a typical wireless setup with a transmitter that clips directly to the instrument's bell. The ATX Wireless Micro Transmitter holds an HM60 condenser microphone on an 8.5 inch adjustable gooseneck, positioned with a 3-point halo isolation mount that keeps mechanical vibration from the instrument out of the recorded sound. Its supercardioid pickup pattern handles up to 125dB SPL, which matters for horn players who need a mic that can take the volume of a sudden attack without distorting.

An 8-hour rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers the transmitter, with a battery life LED, infrared sync to the receiver, and easily accessible gain and mute controls built into the clip-on unit itself, so there's nothing extra to strap on or carry. The rack-mountable CR99 receiver offers 80 selectable channels for frequency-agile performance in venues where other wireless gear might be competing for the same spectrum, and its true RF diversity design paired with tone-key technology keeps dropouts from turning into audible noise. A 300 foot working range covers most stages and performance spaces, giving horn players the same wireless freedom that vocalists and guitarists already have, without adding a beltpack to their instrument or their belt.

Features

    • Clip-On Design, No Beltpack

The transmitter clips directly to an instrument's bell, giving horn players wireless freedom without a beltpack or trailing cable.

    • Built For Wind Instrument Volume

The HM60 capsule's supercardioid pattern handles up to 125dB SPL, capturing the sudden attack of horns without distorting.

    • Vibration-Isolated Mounting

A 3-point halo isolation mount keeps mechanical vibration from the instrument body out of the recorded audio signal.

    • Rechargeable All-Night Battery

An 8-hour lithium-ion battery with a charge indicator LED keeps the transmitter running through a full rehearsal or set.

    • 80-Channel Frequency-Agile Receiver

The CR99 receiver's wide channel selection and true RF diversity design keep the signal clean even in crowded RF environments.
