RF-X RB

The RF-X brings the design approach of the industry-standard Reflexion Filter PRO to a lighter, simpler package. It mounts on a mic stand behind the microphone and gives you an instant vocal booth in a room that has no acoustic treatment at all.

A proven four-layer construction is what separates it from a single-layer shield. Absorption stays close to even across the frequency range, so almost no coloration reaches the capsule: the take comes out drier and closer, not thin and filtered. That is the difference between a recording that sits properly in a mix and one you spend an afternoon trying to fix.

The body is lightweight and vented, so it works on stands that would struggle under a heavier panel, and the redesigned clamp assembly makes setup and repositioning quick. Height and distance both adjust, letting you decide how much of the room stays in the take.

Like the RF Pro and RF SPACE, every RF-X is assembled by hand in the sE factory. It also ships as part of the X1 S Studio Bundle. Typical uses are vocals, acoustic guitar, and drums in home studios, project rooms, and untreated spaces.

This version comes in a red and black finish, which reads well on camera in video sessions and streams where the filter sits in frame behind the performer.
