T1 Pair

This pair of T1 cardioid condensers arrives with a stereo mounting bar, so XY, ORTF and near-coincident setups are ready without extra hardware. Each mic uses the hand-crafted twin 1" titanium-sputtered brass capsule from the multi-pattern T2, wired for cardioid.

Titanium is stiffer and roughly three times lighter than gold, which is why these mics track transients so accurately. As a stereo pair over a kit, that speed keeps cymbal and stick detail intact rather than smeared, and the same trait serves piano, percussion, orchestral strings and choir. Max SPL reaches 157 dB with the -20 dB pad, so close overheads on a hard-hit kit stay clean, while 9 dB(A) self-noise and an 85 dB signal-to-noise ratio keep quiet passages free of hiss.

Switchable 80 and 160 Hz low-cut filters trim proximity buildup and stage rumble on both channels before the preamp. All-metal housings are built roadworthy, and the close-miking shockmounts let you place each capsule precisely in tight positions.

At 290 g and 146 mm each, the bodies fit around a kit where larger condensers cannot. Two shockmounts, thread adapters, the stereo mounting bar and a metal case are included.
