V7 MC2

The V7 MC2 is a supercardioid dynamic capsule that puts the sound of the wired V7 handheld mic on your Sennheiser wireless transmitter. It threads onto the transmitter body you already own, so the rest of your wireless rig stays exactly as it is.

Inside is the DMC7 dynamic capsule with a specialized aluminum voice coil and neodymium magnet, tuned for a crisp, open vocal sound with clear, detailed highs. The supercardioid pattern isolates a lead vocal from wedges, drums, and guitar cabs, so you get more gain before feedback on a loud stage and less bleed to clean up afterward. Frequency response runs 40 Hz to 19 kHz at 2.0 mV/Pa (-54 dBV) into a 300 Ohm output.

A patented integrated shockmount decouples the capsule from the body, keeping footfalls, hand movement, and stand bumps out of the signal. The internal windscreen cuts plosives and wind noise for close-in and outdoor work, and a spare screen is in the box. Gold-plated contacts hold a reliable connection through years of capsule swaps.

Construction is all metal: a durable zinc alloy chassis and a spring steel mesh grille that resists dents and corrosion, with a beveled edge that stops the mic rolling off an amp or the stage floor.

It fits front-of-house vocals, houses of worship, corporate events, theater, and touring rigs. Compatible with Sennheiser handheld transmitters. The included MP03 pouch and thread cover keep the capsule protected between shows.
