X1 S VOCAL PACK

The X1 S Vocal Pack is a three-piece front end for vocal recording: the X1 S condenser microphone, the ISO PACK quick-lock shockmount, and a metal pop filter that slides into the mount. Three parts, one setup, no adapters to hunt down.

The X1 S is a hand-crafted 1 inch true condenser individually tuned at sE's own factory. It covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz with 9 dB self-noise, so a quiet vocal take stays free of hiss, and handles up to 160 dB SPL with the pad engaged, so the same mic works on electric guitar and drums when the vocal session ends. Switchable 80 and 160 Hz low-cut filters plus 10 and 20 dB pads give you control at the source.

The ISO PACK shockmount matters more than it looks. It absorbs low-end rumble and footfall noise from floors and desks, the kind of problem that shows up in a mix as a muddy vocal with no obvious cause. The metal pop filter locks into the mount for plosive protection without a second stand or clamp, keeping the setup compact in a small room or booth.
