The RCM PRO uses a 25mm cartridge and a large diaphragm for a bigger pickup area and a clean, natural sound across bass, mids, and highs, backed by two Samsung capacitors that keep the signal stable through sudden volume or frequency changes. Its zinc metal body and one-piece steel head resist the shock and vibration noise that plague lighter, two-piece mic heads, and the cardioid polar pattern rejects sound from the sides and rear to keep the recording focused. Two cables are included: one to run the mic straight into the mixer's phantom power, and a 3.5mm-to-XLR cable to connect directly to a computer sound card when a mixer isn't in the chain.
