Notepad-5 + LINE8 BROAD 2

This kit sets up two podcast hosts with a Soundcraft Notepad-5 mixer, a Rockville LINE8 USB 8-channel mixer, two Rockville RMC-XLR handheld microphones on RTMS21 desktop tripod stands, and two Rockville PRO-M50 studio headphones, connected through an RC1DTRS headphone splitter and an RCTR106B balanced cable. The Notepad-5 supplies a Soundcraft mic preamp on its combo input, while the LINE8 USB adds eight more mic or line inputs with its own built-in USB-C recording interface, giving both hosts room to plug in mics, instruments, or a phone or laptop for sound effects. Each RMC-XLR mic uses an M-56 cartridge with a neodymium magnet for a tight, uni-directional pickup pattern, mounted on an RTMS21 tripod with an integrated shock mount and pop filter to keep the table clear and vocals free of plosives. The RC1DTRS splitter lets both hosts share one headphone output from the mixer while still hearing their own copy of the mix through PRO-M50 headphones, which use 40mm neodymium drivers in a closed-back design for accurate, isolated monitoring. Between the two mixers, dedicated mic stands, and split headphone monitoring, this kit gives a two-person show everything needed to record an episode without extra shopping.
