3-Person Podcast Recording Kit With Mics, Stands, Headphones

This kit sets up three podcast hosts with a Soundcraft Notepad-5 mixer, a Rockville LINE8 USB 8-channel mixer, three Rockville RMC-XLR handheld microphones on RTMS21 desktop tripod stands, three Rockville PRO-M50 studio headphones, and a Rockville RHPA4 4-channel headphone amplifier. The Notepad-5 supplies a Soundcraft mic preamp on its combo input, while the LINE8 USB adds eight more mic or line inputs along with its own built-in USB-C recording interface, giving three hosts room to plug in mics and instruments together. Each RMC-XLR mic uses an M-56 cartridge with a neodymium magnet for a tight, uni-directional pickup pattern, mounted on an RTMS21 tripod with an integrated shock mount and pop filter to keep vocals clean and the table free of stand clutter. Because three hosts need three separate comfortable monitor levels, the RHPA4 splits the mixer's output into four independently controlled headphone feeds, delivered through PRO-M50 headphones with 40mm neodymium drivers for accurate, isolated listening.
