The Notepad-8FX is an 8-channel analog mixer built around Soundcraft mic preamps, HARMAN digital signal processing, and a built-in USB audio interface for Mac and PC. Two mic/line combo inputs give room for a co-host or a second guitar or keyboard, and each channel carries a 3-band EQ along with an aux send for shaping the mix before it reaches the main output. Lexicon reverb, chorus, and delay effects with tap tempo control are built into the mixer itself, so a podcast or music session can pick up studio-style polish without routing through separate plug-ins. The familiar channel-strip layout, rotary headphone volume, and metal enclosure carry over from the rest of the Notepad series, keeping the mixer easy to learn for beginners while still offering the aux send and effects routing that more experienced users expect.
