The BX-10XD is a digital bass reconstruction processor that finds and rebuilds low-frequency harmonics missing from compressed music, streaming audio, and factory-processed source signals. It works with stock radios as well as aftermarket head units, so a factory system can gain real low end without replacing the dash. Bass restoration technology reads the incoming signal and reconstructs the fundamentals that were rolled off, while parametric bass control lets you set how much correction is applied and where it lands in the low range. That works across genres: EDM, banda, rock, and jazz all sit at different points in the bass register. A built-in subsonic filter cuts inaudible ultra-low frequencies that cause distortion and push subwoofer cones past safe excursion. Balanced inputs with 60 dB of noise rejection keep induced noise out of long signal runs, and a PWM high headroom supply delivers up to 13.5 volts to your amplifiers so gains stay low and the system stays quiet. Frequency response runs 10Hz to 100KHz at 0.003% THD with a 130 dB signal-to-noise ratio. The dash mount remote with lighted display keeps bass level adjustment within arm reach, and installation is straightforward on most systems, from single-amplifier builds to multi-amplifier setups.
