The VM-622HB is a 6.2-inch double DIN mechless multimedia receiver that swaps a dated factory radio for a touchscreen without a disc mechanism to fail. Android MHL PhoneLink mirrors a supported Android phone to the head unit screen over the charging cable that came with the device, so apps, video, and other content run on the larger display with two-way touch control and the phone stays in the pocket. Bluetooth covers hands-free calling with call logs, phone book access with caller information, playback control, and A2DP audio streaming. A front USB and AUX input handle MP3, WMA, and M4A audio, AVI, MP4, and H264 video, and JPEG, GIF, PNG, and BMP images, with ID3 tag reading for track and artist details. The microSD slot takes cards up to 32GB for music, photos, and video. The 800x480 LCD uses a clear glass capacitive touch panel with adjustable backlight, and 7-color RGB illumination on keys and faceplate accents lets you match the interior lighting. An RCA back-up camera input with a +12V auto-on trigger shows what is behind you, and a front camera input helps with tight parking. A 10-band equalizer with presets tunes the sound, and a built-in 4-channel Class A/B amplifier puts out 300W max for factory speakers. Preamp front, rear, and subwoofer outputs plus video output feed added amplifiers or rear seat screens. An ISO 2-DIN chassis and mounting sleeve fit standard dash kits, and steering wheel control input is built in.
