The VRCPAA-106M is a 10.6-inch floating touchscreen double DIN receiver with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto built in and no disc mechanism, which removes the most common moving part failure from the dash. The display runs about 30% larger than a traditional 7-inch head unit, yet the 2-DIN chassis fits standard dash kits and brackets in most newer vehicles. CarPlay brings iPhone maps, calls, messages, and music to the screen with Siri, and Android Auto covers Android phones with Google Assistant, so navigation and texts happen by voice while your hands stay on the wheel. The high resolution TFT-LCD uses a pinpoint accurate capacitive touch panel with a large format interface, and 7-color key illumination matches the cabin lighting. Media comes from dual USB and microSD up to 64GB with 1080P support, covering MP3, WMA, M4A, and FLAC audio, MP4 and H264 video, and JPEG, GIF, and PNG images with ID3 tag reading. Bluetooth handles hands-free calling with call logs, phone book access, playback control, and wireless audio streaming. An advanced FM/AM tuner with RBDS data display, a 10-band digital equalizer with user presets, and 300W 4-channel speaker outputs cover audio, with front, rear, and subwoofer 4V RCA preamp outputs for added amplifiers and dual video outputs for rear monitors. Front and rear camera inputs with a 12V trigger and a wireless remote are included.
