BT-R1 3" Car Audio Tweeter

The Sundown Audio BT-R1 is a 3" car audio tweeter built to keep high frequencies clear in loud systems. It handles 100W RMS at 8 ohm and covers 4kHz to 20kHz, so cymbals, vocal detail, and upper harmonics stay defined when the subwoofers are working hard. Sensitivity is rated at 100dB, which means it turns modest amplifier power into high output instead of asking for a large dedicated amp.

Mounting depth is only 1.6", so the BT-R1 fits shallow door panels, A-pillar pods, kick panels, sail panels, and custom baffles where a deeper tweeter would not clear the window mechanism or sheet metal. That shallow profile also makes it a straightforward swap for factory tweeters in tight locations.

The 8 ohm impedance gives you wiring flexibility. Run a pair off one amplifier channel, or wire several across a single channel, without pulling the amplifier load down to a level it cannot handle. It works as the top end of a component setup, as added detail alongside existing coaxials, or as a high-frequency layer in an SPL build.

A grill is included to protect the tweeter in doors, pods, and rear decks where feet, cargo, or passengers can reach it. The BT-R1 is sold individually, so you can buy exactly the number your build calls for: two for a front stage, four for front and rear, or more for a wall.
