Product Description

The LCMR-6.5 is a 6.5-inch midrange speaker rated 100W RMS at 8 ohms, built to cover 120 Hz to 6 kHz and nothing else. Narrowing the job to the midrange is what lets it stay clear at high output: no deep bass to fight, no top-end demands, just vocals and guitars in the band your ears are most sensitive to.

A phase plug replaces the conventional dust cap, keeping response consistent off-axis and moving heat away from the voice coil. The 1.51-inch coil rides in a ferrite motor, and sensitivity is 92 dB, so it plays loud on reasonable power. With an 83.27 Hz resonant frequency and a Qts of 0.409, it behaves predictably on an open baffle or in a door with an active crossover in front of it.

The 8-ohm load is built for arrays. Two in parallel make 4 ohms and four make 2 ohms, which is how door and pillar builds stack midranges without overloading an amplifier. Mounting takes a 5.82-inch cutout and 3.5 inches of depth behind a 6.51-inch outer diameter frame.
