Product Description

The SAEv4-900.5 runs a complete system from one chassis: four channels for your speakers and a fifth channel for the subwoofer. Total RMS output is 980W, delivered through a high-fidelity Class A/B+D architecture that uses linear amplification on the full-range channels and Class D on the bass channel, using the latest half-bridge design to keep the footprint manageable.

Output is 120W x 4 plus 325W x 1, or 80W x 4 plus 225W x 1 at 2 ohms, with 500W x 1 at 1 ohm on channel 5. That covers a front and rear pair of component or coaxial speakers plus a single subwoofer, which is what most full-system upgrades actually need.

Channels 1 through 4 have variable 12dB low and high pass filters from 40 Hz to 5 kHz, so you can run components up high and let the sub cover the bottom. Channel 5 has a variable 12dB low pass from 40 Hz to 250 Hz and a variable 12dB subsonic filter from 10 Hz to 40 Hz. Input sensitivity reaches 6V max for low noise with a strong source.

An all-new chassis and heatsink design uses 33 percent more aluminum than the previous version, which keeps temperatures down when the system runs at volume. A four-way protection circuit covers thermal, voltage, speaker short, and DC-offset faults. An optional wired remote with clipping indicator is available for bass level control.

Dimensions are 17.36 by 6.3 by 2.75 inches.
