Product Description

The SDX-100.6 is a water-resistant six-channel Class D amplifier for systems that need more than four speaker channels. Output is 100W x 6 at 4 ohms, 150W x 6 at 2 ohms, and 300W x 3 at 4 ohms bridged, in a 12.25 by 7 by 2.125-inch chassis.

Six channels change what you can build. Run front and rear speakers plus a pair of pods or a bar, or run three bridged pairs, all from one amplifier and one power feed. That is a straightforward answer to a side-by-side with a full speaker layout or a boat with multiple zones.

The weather protection is structural. A heavy cast aluminum casing sheds heat and shields the electronics, and the audio controls sit under a sealed, removable cover that keeps water, dust, and mud out of the pots. Unscrew the badge with an allen key when it is time to adjust.

Crossovers are extensive: variable 12dB high pass filters covering 15 Hz to 500 Hz or 300 Hz to 10 kHz on channels 1-2 and 15 Hz to 500 Hz on channels 3-4, plus variable 12dB low pass filters at 15 Hz to 500 Hz or 300 Hz to 10 kHz on channels 1-2, 30 Hz to 500 Hz or 600 Hz to 10 kHz on channels 3-4, and 30 Hz to 500 Hz on channels 5-6, with x1/x20 multipliers.

DC auto-sensing turn on skips the remote wire. Protection circuitry covers thermal, voltage, speaker short, and DC-offset faults. An 80A fuse is recommended, and an optional wired remote is available.
