AX1200 1200W 2-Channel Power Amplifier

The Technical Pro AX1200 is a two-channel power amplifier that sends 1200W of peak power to a pair of passive speakers. Rated output runs 465W at 2 ohms, 375W at 4 ohms, and 210W at 8 ohms, so it has the headroom to run studio monitors, a small stage system, a mobile DJ rig, or the house speakers in a lounge or small club.

Connections stay simple. RCA inputs take signal from standard mixers, controllers, and interfaces, and banana binding post outputs tie into almost any speaker system. Input impedance is 10 k ohm unbalanced, frequency response covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and the signal-to-noise ratio measures 79 dB, which keeps program material clear from low kick drums to top-end cymbals.

The front panel keeps control within reach. Each channel has its own level knob plus power, level, and clipping indicators. The clipping LED lights red the moment a channel runs too hot, so you can pull the gain back before the sound suffers. Iridescent blue LED meters show real-time readings and stay easy to read in a dark DJ booth or on a dim stage. The power button also sits up front, so a rack-mounted unit never requires reaching behind the gear to switch it on or off.
